About the Role

The National Association for Athletes' Mental Health (NAAMH) is dedicated to supporting and advocating for the mental well-being of athletes at all levels. We are seeking a creative and passionate Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in visually communicating our mission, values, and initiatives through compelling and impactful designs.

As a Graphic Designer at NAAMH, you will collaborate with our marketing, communications, and content teams to create visually stunning and effective graphics for various digital and print platforms. Your work will help raise awareness, engage our audience, and drive our mission forward.

Job Function
Graphic Design: Create high-quality visual content for web, social media, email campaigns, print materials, and other marketing collateral.
Brand Development: Maintain and develop the visual identity of NAAMH, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
Campaign Design: Design and execute visual elements for awareness campaigns, fundraising efforts, events, and other initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to develop creative concepts and translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and guidelines.
Content Creation: Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including video graphics, animations, and infographics, to support our digital storytelling efforts.
Feedback Integration: Revise and refine designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our visual content.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a non-profit, health, or sports organization.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects), and other design software. Experience with video editing software is a plus.

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including digital and print work.

  • Creativity: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative design concepts that align with organizational goals.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design choices and collaborate with team members.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion: A genuine passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to supporting athletes' mental well-being.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
