Need Support Now?

National Alliance on Mental Health

NAMI provides education programs like Family-to-Family and Peer-to-Peer, supports through groups such as NAMI Family Support and NAMI Connection, and advocates for policies ensuring access to mental health services. Their efforts include public awareness campaigns, a confidential helpline, crisis intervention resources, and online tools to reduce stigma and support mental health recovery.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)

AFSP focuses on funding research, providing education programs, advocating for public policies, and supporting survivors of suicide loss. Their efforts include promoting mental health education, facilitating support groups for survivors, and fostering a compassionate and understanding society to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide.

The Trevor Project

Through its 24/7 lifeline, chat, and text services, The Trevor Project provides immediate support to LGBTQ youth in crisis. Additionally, the organization offers educational programs, advocacy efforts, and resources to promote acceptance and mental health awareness within communities.

Active Minds

Active Minds empowers students to speak openly about mental health, seek help when needed, and advocate for policies that support mental well-being on campuses. Through campus chapters, educational events, and peer-to-peer support programs, Active Minds engages students in conversations about mental health, reduces stigma, and promotes access to mental health resources.
