ABOUT NAAMH

The National Association for Athletes' Mental Health (NAAMH) is a leading non-profit organization committed to the mental well-being of athletes at all levels. Headquartered in Southern California, and as a membership-based organization, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health and strive to provide the support, education, and advocacy necessary for athletes to thrive. Through collaboration with mental health professionals, sports organizations, and the athletic community, NAAMH is dedicated to creating an environment where every athlete can achieve their full potential both on and off the field. We are the backbone to ensure that athletes are supported throughout their mental health journeys.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 87-1566243), NAAMH relies on the generous support of donors, partners, and the community to continue its vital work. By working with schools, sports organizations, and mental health professionals, NAAMH is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of athletes and fostering a culture that prioritizes mental health. Join us in our mission to ensure that every athlete has the resources and support they need to succeed and lead a fulfilling life.

NAAMH's initiatives include the "Us Too" Campaign, which advocates for comprehensive mental health resources and support systems within the athletic community. By signing petitions, participating in awareness events, and engaging in educational programs, supporters can contribute to a movement that seeks to transform the mental health landscape for athletes. NAAMH is dedicated to breaking down barriers, providing crucial support, and championing the mental well-being of athletes everywhere.

Jorden O'Neal

"I never expected to be impacted by mental health growing up, but then it happened. Everyone has their own journey, and I chose to fight. My depression is an ongoing battle, but what gives me strength is when I can help at least one person overcome the battle I have faced. This organization is my testimony."
